Nickle School Weekly Update
Learning & IPPs
We’ve had a fantastic week at Nickle School! Students are actively engaged in learning, and teachers are completing annual diagnostic assessments aligned with district-wide planning.
A special thank you to Ms. Davis for leading this important work.
Teachers are also reviewing Individualized Program Plans (IPPs) and setting initial goals. IPPs will be sent home on Friday, October 10.
🏃♂️ Terry Fox Run Success
Thank you to everyone who supported our Terry Fox “Finish It” campaign. Nickle School raised $2,142, surpassing our goal of $1,200!
- Shout-out to Ms. Sergent for organizing the Food Trucks last June.
- Appreciation to Mr. Rae for inspiring us with your incredible passion! Thank you for leading the assembly, run, and fundraising.

🧡 Orange Shirt Day – This Friday
In recognition of the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation on September 30, students are encouraged to wear orange this Friday.
Grade teams have planned meaningful activities to support learning and reflection.
Staffing Update
We are finalizing our school budget and will send a staffing update via email after school Monday.
