Drama Update-Mr Jenkins: 

Rehearsals for The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe as well as The Fairy Tale Network will begin Tuesday, February 17. Scripts and the first rehearsal schedules will be available for students to pick up starting Wednesday, February 11. 

Surveys: 

Assurance Survey – Grade 7 students complete a survey for Alberta Education. This is an anonymous survey to help Alberta Education understand their experiences of learning at school.   

CBE Student Survey – Grade 6, 8, and 9 

About the CBE Student Survey 

• Allows students to voice their feedback on their experiences at school, the school environment and school improvement programs.   
• Based on their feedback, students have the opportunity to be involved in action plans fostering increased student engagement. 
• The survey should take about 60 to 80 minutes to complete. 

The CBE Student Survey is an opportunity for students to: 

• report on themselves, their own abilities, and their accomplishments; and 
• take pride in what they have achieved. 

In alignment with CBE’s Education Plan, the results are used in school and district reports to demonstrate that students are: 

• at the centre of all CBE decisions; 
• able to integrate and apply the knowledge, skills, attitudes, and competencies they are acquiring across all academic disciplines; and  
• demonstrating Citizenship, Personal Development and Character in and through learning.  

 Athletics Update-Mr. Rae: 

We have a busy week ahead in athletics. All our teams are participating in tournaments this week. The junior teams will be at Twelve Mile Coulee, and the senior teams will be at Sherwood. We are midway through the season, and our junior girls are currently in first place, the junior boys are tied for first place, the senior girls are in second place, and the senior boys are in second place. Coaches may choose to alter practice times this week due to the number of games this week.
