Nickle School Open House - May 7, 2026 

Nickle School will host an  Open House for families new to Nickle for the 2026-27 school year,  who are interested in learning more about our school. We are pleased to offer a self-guided tour of the school, and we will also be hosting a Scavenger Hunt for attendees.

• Where: Main Foyer, Nickle School, 2500 Lake Bonavista Dr. SE 

Lockers and Valuables: 

Weekly Reminder: Securing Personal Belongings 

We are asking all students and families to please review expectations around securing personal belongings at school. 

Students are reminded to lock up all valuables during the day, particularly when using the change rooms. Items such as shoes, clothing, electronics, and wallets should not be left on the floor or in unlocked lockers, as this makes them vulnerable to being taken. 

As our school facility is regularly used for community rentals, the change room areas are often accessible to the public outside of class times. Leaving lockers open or unlocked can provide easy access to personal items. 

Please take a moment to review the following with your child: 

• Keep locker combinations private  
• Ensure locks are secured properly each time  
• Avoid bringing valuable items to school when possible  
• Use hallway lockers to store valuables, as they are generally more secure than PE lockers  

We appreciate your support in helping keep personal belongings safe.
