Good evening, We wanted to let you know that the Division B track meet scheduled for tomorrow, June 1, has been canceled. After consultation with the Calgary Track Council and a visit to the track this evening, it was determined that conditions are unsafe for competition due to flooding and pooling on the track. Unfortunately, the weather is not expected to improve in time for safe use of the facility. We recognize that this is disappointing news. New Students - Nickle School Info / Tours :
Dear Nickle School Next Year Families. We are aware that some new families were not able to attend our recent Open House for New Students / Families.
If you are a NEW STUDENT to NICKLE NEXT YEAR and missed the Open House we are offering two dates for a school tour.
- Wednesday June 3rd @ 2:45 pm
- Friday June 19th @ 12:15 pm
Please disregard school tours if you are a currently enrolled Nickle student / family.
Please RSVP to nickle@cbe.ab.ca if you wish to attend a school tour.
When emailing, please include:
- Preferred Tour Date (June 3 or June 19)
- Student Name
- Student’s Grade for Next Year
- Grade 7–9 Complementary Options

- Nickle Drama Productions – June 2 to 5 at 6:30 PM
- Nickle Band Concert – June 17 at 6:30 PM

Year-End Band Performance
The grade 7, 8, and 9-year-end band concert will take place on Wednesday, June 17th, at 7 pm. Students should be at the school 15-20 minutes early to warm up their instruments. Students are expected to wear their band shirts or a plain black top to the performance. Any family and friends wishing to attend are welcome.
